Jeremy E. Baptist, M.D., Ph.D. received his bachelor’s in Physics and his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Chicago. Several years later, Dr. Baptist resturned to school to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine where he achieved his M.D. Following the completion of his M.D. he had an internship at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL, where he studied Internal Medicine.
In pursuit of his career in allergy, Dr. Baptist completed his Allergy Fellowship at Speer Allergy Clinic, Shawnee Mission, KS. After Dr. Baptist acquired his Fellowship he continued his employment with the Speer clinic. Concluding his employment at Speer Allergy Clinic in 1999 he decided to open his own practice, Allergy Link, P.A., Overland Park, KS, where he is currently the President and Medical Director.
Being an independent physician has made it possible for Dr. Baptist to explore and research testing and treatment for many different immunological and behaviorial disorders. Dr. Baptist has specialized in and treated Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Asperger’s Syndrome for over 25 years. To further his cause he became a D.A.N. (Defeat Autism Now!) doctor in 1996 and he continues to be involved with implementation of the D.A.N. protocol.
In 2002, Dr. Baptist founded Finding A Cure, Inc., a not-for-profit foundation that helps provide funding to less fortunate families for the testing and treatment of various Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Baptist has been honored by the University of Kansas School of Medicine for his contribution to the Eductation Of Future Physicians. He has also received the Norseman Distinguished Service Awared from the Scandinavian Association. Alongside his honors, Dr. Baptist has been named to Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Medicine, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
Dr. Baptist is a member of the American Medical Association, Kansas Medical Society, Greater Kansas City Allergy Society, and many other distinguished groups. He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology ans has served on its committe on adverse reactions to food.
